Got it, it's a coolster 250.

She's a bit of an ugly duckling and it doesn't have spark but I got it for a decent deal. Hopefully I will get some time to work on it next week.

heres the one I was trying to buy he sent me a ton of pics, but something about my gut it just wasn't there for me, I believe he said he would take $850 which is a great price! but the drive between gas, and tolls. Equals $1k and im sure its going to need little odds and ends, im sticking with my hammerhead

That's about an hour from me. Pretty nice shape, but i wouldn't do a swingarm buggy for myself again.

This is the one i was talking about, probably a 3-4 hr haul for you.
I keep eyballing it for the trailing arms, as they're a generation better than the ones i use and i could do the swap, refurb it and sell it for about 2k around here. don't really have the time or energy for it though.

Either one of you guys know how to check the pickup coil on one of these? Not the coil with the plug wire but the pickup coil that signals the regular coil.

I might be picking up a dead hammerhead tomorrow. If I make this coolster a 2 seater using the hammerhead, will that make it a hamster or a cool head? lol

The whole time I had my hammerhead I wanted to make it a single seat to lighten it up. Now I have a single seat with a 250 and I want 2 seats..

I don't ride with anyone either, its just a cool feeling being in a single seater, 2 people with a 150cc equals slower for me.

I felt the same way with my 150 but this 250 has gobs of torque. Gonna lighten the hammerhead too.

Your profile says you were a UPS driver, you can't get the hook up? lol

Hell! Gas is so cheap and the weather is so nice this time of year, you should make the trip down for a mini vacation.
