Default Hammerhead ss 250 electrical question

I have a Hammerhead ss 250 and would like to wire the coolant fans to run only while the kart is running. I have the wire that powers the speakers (40 watts) that may fit my needs but I don't know how many watts the fans are rated for and if bridging that power w/b adequate for my needs. Any ideas? Thanks!

There should be a temp sensor switch in the radiator which senses the temp and turns the fans on and off. If you were to unplug the wires and jump across the fans will come on and continually run with the ignition on. TOM

doug, tom is correct, i also have a 250ss and there is a sensor in the bottom of the radiator (drivers side) that has two blade style connectors on it. if you un-plug those and bridge them, when you fire up the buggy it will run the fans constant. i'm not sure of the draw though.

Thanks guys. sorry for the delay in writing back. Jumping the switch worked fine....all was great until I had a clutch failure which caused it to hit the housing and bend the main shaft....so it was fun for a while. back to work.....
