Default The new buggy

unpacked the shipping crate and got my buggy up on stands for assembly. praying not too many castle nuts, washers, and lugs rattled out the hole in the bottom of the shipping crate. Ran out of daylight, so I'll do a full accounting in the am.. Hopefully any missing nuts and such can be easily replace at home depot, etc.

Looks nice. Make sure you change oil often, I heard stories of cotton in oil and all kinds of other junk. Glad it arrived!

Most can be replaced there, but the grade 8 stuff and locking nuts are hard to come by. Do yourself a favor and locate a nut and bolt shop, we have Daytona bolt and nut here, and they have everything and its cheap. Fastenal and ACE hardware are also good options, but usually lack the really important/hard to find stuff.

Nope. parts bag burst during shipping so, waiting to hear if they'll send replacements for the stuff (M12 castle nuts, bolts to attach steering wheel, a couple spacers). when I opened the crate there was parts rolling around on the floor so I knew I'd be missing something.. 98% put together though.

Mine was similar situation. During assembly I discovered I was missing several bolts and a couple of front wheel studs. Fortunately I purchased mine from a local shop and he supplied me with what I needed to finish it up. It's been a total blast to ride. I've since added a uni filter, rejetted the carb to 124, changed to 11 gram rollers and red main spring.

The place I bought it from got in touch with me sat night, and again on Sunday to say the parts were on the way, so I'm happy enough and pleased with the customer service.

A few missing pieces of hardware isn't too bad at all. I heard some real horror stories in the past.. missing frame parts, broken wheels, dented/bent frames, etc. It's good to hear your getting good customer service.
Do make sure to replace all the fluids in the motor before you start up. Some of the stuff those factories use is unidentifiable. We've seen stuff we would swear was used cooking oil.
