I want to get into off-road go karting

Hi All,

I want to get into light off-roading, and Go-karting seems like a cheaper way to do that. Does anyone know of a good Kart that can be bought? One of my requirements is it be about 40" wide or less so I can fit in in my suv.

I was looking at the: ScooterX 196cc Sport Go Kart, but it doesn't have a front suspension which probably means its not too good? I also assume its just a cheap Chinese made product.

I noticed there seem to be several Australian/New Zeland based companies that appear to sell higher quality karts such as HelmetKarts.com, but they don't sell in the US.

Welcome- Most karts are Chinese made!!Buy an off road kart big enough for your size and remove the roll cage- IMO I wouldn't haul a fossil fuel burning toy of any kind in an SUV--fuel,oil in my enclosed vehicle?
