Default Sooo...how many of you guys know what this is?

You young guys likely won't have any clue but the more senior crowd might. Been working on it for a couple days.

Three wheelers are a blast to ride...and don't cost an arm and a leg.

That's a clean 250r...What year?

The last time I was out at Busco beach, this guy on a new Honda 450 quad could not keep up with the 250r I was riding. He was amazed how fast the old Honda 250r ATCs are.

Nice job...It's hard to find one in such great shape.

I got access to two of '85 250r's at the moment. The owner just got the second one, nowhere near the shape of yours but it runs scary quick. It needs a new kicker gear and seat cover, but the plan is a complete restore.

I'll let him know about your '85, he just sold his air cooled '83...

Cool, that would be awesome. That kicker gear is a pretty easy fix.One piece of advice try to buy it on ebay(the gear) the dealer really sticks it to ya on old r parts.

Definitely...Ebay is the best for 250r parts. I'm always looking for parts on there and not just for the r either...It's the only reasonable source for Oddy parts except the occasional C-list find.

you guys must be closer to my age. That's exactly what it is. 85 Tecate.

You can list your ATV's in the classifieds section. We get a ton of lookers.

*BUMP*
I have two Kaw Prairie 400s and a Bayou 220. My favorite bike I sold a few years back and now really regret it. It was a 1986 Kawasaki KLT160 3-wheeler, like this:
Oddly enough, it was one of the last ones built before they went to the 185cc engine and probably should have been a 1985, but was titled as an 86....... It wasn't that fast flat-out, even with the engine mods, but in the woods and on winding trails I could stay glued to ANYONE'S back bumper. My cousin owns a powersports shop in MO and he and his friends would bring all kinds of overpowered 4 wheelers out to our property and slog through the National Forest with us. They were annoyed that the KLT could keep up with them so easily, and when I took the lead I had to slow down periodically so they could catch up whenever we were weaving through the woods.
I loved the maneuverability and low-end power! I would buy another one in a heartbeat but they are REALLY hard to find, as you can well imagine!
If anyone close to the Florida/Georgia area at all has one or knows of one anything like the KLT for sale, hit me up!!!!!
Thanks!
