Default 250cc carb?

I put my P&P head and other parts on the other day, but i could not get it to start up without help from the gas pedal. I am sure this is due to the carb needing adjusted. After looking around the carb, i dont believe i saw an adjustment screw for the pilot jet. Right now it has the stock pilot jet installed and a 130 main. I have no idea the stock size, as it is not written on the jet. Where do i make the adjustment to the circuit? I believe this is a 30mm carb.

Thanks for the great advice guys! I found it, underneath the flippin carb. Great place for it, guess i will have to take carb off to adjust all the time. Any idea what the stock pilot jet size is on these 30mm carbs?

Here are a couple different tools for adjusting that screw. They work great on bikes.

I feel your pain, my vulcan 1500 is the same way, except it has a hard coolant line partially covering it as well. No wonder the PO left it alone, and boy would it pop back through the intake, blew the carb off once.
