Default Cool looking buggy

Don't think I've ever seen one of these. Call it an Ace Striker. I like the way it looks:

It's nice, but not that nice. I would say something like the YamaBuggy 400 or something is.

Yeah its built by Carter and sold at Northern Hyd. They went down to $1995 for a sales price . They still can not sell it . It must weigh 700 lbs or so and with a 150 cc motor has to be a snail. They claim 40 mph ,yeah right maybe with a 40 mph tailwind and down hill !

it actually weighs the same as the xp. 450lbs. the ones at northen do not come with a 2 year warranty only 6 months, and it dosent have the panel between the seats and the engine. they also do not service them. it will top out at around 35-38 depending on how much weight is in it.

I had seen a video on it and honestly, that looks like an excellent machine for engine transplant. I'm going to have to take a good look at one and see what the engine mounting area looks like.

I was mostly joking ,but seriously everyone that saw it walked away from it when they saw the small engine in it. I measured it and it was over 8 ft long.It would be best to buy it sell the engine and put a twin Rotax motor in it then you will have a beast!

I looked at this one at my local Northern Tool Store last week... It looks pretty impressive, and I was a bit surprised that the sale price was only 19 something... but I felt the same way when I saw the dinky engine on it...
I'm going to pick up a GPP 13 horse tomorrow for one of my projects...picking it up for two bills... brand new with electric start... I wonder if it would fit? :-D
