Default Intake spacer

Just curious to know if anyone is using their stock black intake spacer with the 30mm intake manifold. I am not using mine as the bolts that came with it don't seem like it would be possible, unless you switch to a longer bolt. I have noticed that my carb sits on the rear crossbar causing the coupler on the intake manifold to not be straight and cylindrical. Basically pushing the carb up. If I were to put the black spacer in between the head and 30mm intake manifold this would fix that issue.

I'm not using one. The I.D. of the spacer on mine was 24 or 26mm and I kept breaking them trying to bore them out to 30mm with a step bit.

I had the same issue with my carb position. It made it impossible to secure the stock breather box tube to the carb itself. I actually had to end up using a set of soft grip handle bar slip ons to make the junction work! took a little contortion but worked!
