Roketa 110cc GK-17 Charging Problem
I'm new here so bear with me, did a search and didn't find what I was looking for.
Just picked up a Roketa 110cc for the kiddos, it's not charging the battery, I checked the Yellow and the White wire at the voltage regulator and got no voltage, did the same on the Engine side of the connector comming out of the stator and nothing there either, the ground is good at the stator. I'm not shure what to check or what to do next, what parts I might need, Ect. Any advice would be highly appriciated. Thank you, David H. |

If you have no power from the stator it is most likely a bad stator or a broken wire inside. You will need a stator or I have seen the flywheel magnet go bad. You will need to pull it off and inspect. When you pull the stator( it removes with the cover) you should feel the magnet pull, if not the flywheel is bad. Use your ohm meter to check for opens in the stator. You will need to post some pics of the stator and regulator since they used one of about 3 type stator / regulators on the 110cc engine.

If you can send me a pic of the stator you have I can get the actual specs from the Honda manual. You can PM pics to me or send them to tom@sycpowersports.com
