Default Good to be back!

Hello to my buggy buddies, its good to be back! I had to take a little time off to take care of my wifes medical problems and to travel to a few colleges with my daughter to help her decide where she was going in the fall! The good news is my daughter has made a commitment, the bad news is the wifes problems will be on going even more costly than already! That being said I am waaayyyy behind on getting the buggys ready for good weather, but Im sure I can make up for that in a few weeks! Ive already put a new cam and chain in "ole blue" now I need to purchase a new stator and a couple of new ignition switches, they dont seem to last very long! lol good new is we are suppose to get another 7 to 10" by monday!!!good times

Welcome back Bear, i'll keep your wife and family in my prayers. So now you make too much to qualify. I cannot afford the 750.00 / month for my health insurance with a 7500.00 deductible and get this, I do not qualify for the government subsidy to help pay for the premium for I (are you ready for this?) DO NOT MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO QUALIFY: confused:

Default But wait, theres more!

I feel ya Tom! the other part of the story is that we where refered to welfare by soc. sec. and they said of course that I made tho much $, but that we did qualify for their "spend down" program. All I have to do is spend $584 a month out of pocket, and they will pick up the tab after that! lol but believe it or not I actually spend that on her With her first two Dr. appt. in the month! so it actually benefits me some, but as always there are restrictions.

Well this whole insurance thing is a bad dream at best. I was paying 490.00 per month through cobra which everyone says it is high. It had a 1200.00 deductible 20.00 co pay with unlimited benefits, and the premium also included eye's and dental. Now I'm looking at 750/month with a 7500 deductible and capped at 1 million lifetime. And since non of my doctors will be in any of these new plans I would have to travel at least 1 hour just to see a general physician. Most all I'll be able to see is a nurse practitioner, hell I'd be in better hands seeing my neighbor the vet.I'm between a rock and a hard place. But as the media says, we're all liars, because the ACA is cheaper and better then what we had before.

Got to love bureaucracy! If they don't get you one way, you get it another.

This is why the #1 reason for individual bankruptcy filings are medical bills. Still think we are the best country on the planet?

I agree 100% but the masses have to wake up and get involved. What people do not realize is the elite are trying to Europeanize this country to match most of the world. People need to realize this affordable care act as well as agenda 29 and common core are all UN mandated from treaties signed years ago but never ratified by the Senate, then snuck in as a solution for purposely made problems which then people want solutions for. Having relatives from Europe I can realize the rights we have that they haven't had since WWII. For instance if you own say 100 acres in this country and want to give 10 acres to a sibling to build on you currently can but in Europe this is not allowed for you have to build in the cities and if you burn wood and want to cut trees down to burn you have to get a permit from the authorities and they will tell you if you can cut off your own land and if so how much. This all falls under Agenda 29 which is moving throughout the states in this country with new zoning laws people don't pay any attention to. However back to Europe if you are not allowed to cut any trees on your own property to heat your home then you can contact your neighbors to purchase any excess trees they have been approved for but are not cutting, sounds like Cap & Trade doesn't it? Then there is common core where the state decides what your children will learn, then what type of college or trade school they are allowed to attend. Basically common core is the foundation to remove parental rights and hand then to the states. This is no joke or conspiracy theory for this all happens all over the world. If the masses don't wake soon in 5 years you will not recognize this country for all our rights will be history and our constitution will be just a piece of paper without any meaning.

Now I wouldn't take it that far... But I see your point. It's just that most of our government officials when they are on the job are all just

and once they get off it's more like

They might need to fix that part at least

Well you haven't been around as long as I. Knowing history as this is something I love to read and study, this country has been in a controlled decline for years now and nobody had paid much attention. Today our country is transforming at an alarming rate. We no longer are secure in our possessions with warrantless searches and seizers, road blocks, listening in on our conversations, phone calls all in the name of national security in the war on terrorism. At the same time we leave our borders wide open. I can go on but this isn't the thread for this so I'll end it by answering your last comment with a question.

And please don't answer term limits, because we already have them. It's just that people need to wake up and or get their heads out of the sand so that they can make the right decision on there voting choices as to who is best to run this country. But that is not likely when most know nothing of their own countries roots and convictions.

Default Back to the basics

Here, here as the member of a union I am constanly being told to vote Democrat to save our jobs, but over the course of my career I have noticed it doesbut hey thats just my words nt matter GOP, or Demo. when it comes right down to it! its not a mstter of party line, but the individual canidate. This in intself has transformed me more into an Independant, which was sadly the original idea that this Country was based on "one man, one vote" not the mass lobbying that has spread like cancer!!!!!
