Default If you had $1000 for a used buggy....?

What would you hope to find? I'm in SoCal (greater LA).
I did find an old single seat Yerf Dog (3200, I think) for $300 and put a Predator 212 into it. I have yet to really test it - we close on the purchase of a desert property next week. But I have 2 kids and will need a second buggy. I'm wondering what I might hope to find in a better buggy in the $500-$1000 range?
Thanks for any comments.

Thanks for the reply! I should have been more specific in asking what brands to be on the lookout for. Thanks.

Look for a 150cc Tomberlin Crossfire or Punisher or a Baja Dune. These buggies have better front suspension travel than the strut style. I believe "budrizer" on BuggyNews has a buggy for sale in SoCal right now...

Hi ksm5000, just picked up a running Tomberlin CrossFire 150 for 6 bills, needs a little TLC. I've read good and very little bad. Found it on OfferUp. Good luck bro!

have to be patient I went to go pick up a baja crossfire couple weeks ago for $500 but someone beat me to it. Buggies aren't easy to come by like atvs or quads.

Just stay clear of Carter. Even if cheap enough parts are hard to come by. Also Joyner dirt devel 250 stay away from. All other Joyners are fine as well as Hammerhead, American sportworks, Kinroad, and Blade.
