Default Yerf Dog vs. Helix 150

My 9 year old son currently had a Yerf Dog 2 seater with the Tecumseh 6HP engine. The clutch has been acting funky, and I am considering upgrading to a Helix 6150 150cc buggy. As far as performance, will there be a huge difference? Both machines are stock.

Thanks!

The Helix should be better built. The yerf may be faster due to less weight. That goes directly to the better built

The machines are night and day difference across the board. You won't regret it.

Thanks for the replies. My son can handle everything the Yerf Dog throws at him, I just wanted to be sure the Helix 150 wouldn't be too much machine for him, yet having enough performance for his dad to take an occasional spin.
