How did you wire it? I mean did you have a wiring diagram?

I just had to redo a complete harness from scratch on my Baja 150, so maybe this will help. I had a heck of a time finding the correct diagram for my cart so I had to figure it out on my own. The colors might not match but there function should be same.
WIRES FROM THE MOTOR: There should be three wires coming from the motor that come to a plug; two are from stator(yellow, white) and one is ground (green). The yellow wire goes to rectifier and also powers lights, automatic choke, etc.. The white wire also goes to the rectifier. There should also be two other wires with bullet connectors(black with white stripe, black) these are for timing. The black with while stripe is impulse trigger and it should go to slot 1 on cdi, the other black wire provides ac power to slot 6 on cdi. CDI: slot 1 is trigger impulse from timing (blk/wht) CDI slot order: 1-2 5 slot 2 goes to power side of coil (blk) 3-4 6 slot 3 is open or is secondary ground slot 4 primary ground. (grn) slot 5 kill switch can be left open if slot 3,4 are grounded to kill switch. slot 6 cdi ac power from motor (blk) COIL: Two wires; power side of coil should be connected to cdi slot 2 (blue). Other wire is a ground. RECTIFIER: Should be 4 wires: slot 1 dc from recitifer to batt for charging.(red,yellow/red) slot 2 yellow wire from stator slot 3 white wire from stator slot 4 black or green is ground SYLINOID: Should have power from batt on one side, other should be power for starter. two small wires (green,yellow/red) green is ground and yellow/red is the starter wire for ignition. Hope this helps!! |

Send me an e-mail to <tom@sycpowersports.com> I have a schematic for the blade which should be the same as yours. Both buggies were made in the same factory at one time.
