Question variator removal

I've pulled apart my motor to do some upgrades, but I'm having trouble removing the last bit of the variator so I can pull my crank out. Any tips?

Not the piece with the rollers. The other one with the plastic guides in the middle of each section.

Ya the backing plate, the roller gets stuck pretty good sometimes preventing you from removing the backing plate.

I use a 3 jaw puller from harber freight. I have a pic in one of my threads, i will find it and post it.
