Am I crazy?
Looks like my fuel tank idea is spreading around. The mark up on that thing is outrageous, and yes, it is the same tank and they suggest mounting the same way I did.

Major price difference from BD! That's why I am considering my reverse kit from ebay because they look the EXACT SAME and T3Beatz did it too... I just have to ask him his opinion on it.

Would you have to add a vacuum fuel pump? I assume on the stock tank that vacuum line to the intake helps pull fuel..but have a shutoff would be the bomb..

I'm pretty sure that is for the vacuum operated petcock, not a fuel pump. If your carb can be fed fuel via gravity feed tank, and you want to mount this tank above your engine, then it will work for you. The petcock is very nice, unless you forget that you shut it off and start trying to diagnose why the engine shut off(guilty as charged). It has been mentioned that the fuel cap can leak from the sloshing fuel in the tank while moving, while I have not had a chance to formally test this, I have a few plans on how to remedy the issue, if needed.

Oh, so the vacuum just keeps the petcock "on"? I didn't know if it was an essential part of getting fuel from A to B. So I could cap that vac nipple on the intake and put a standard petcock on huh? My Buds that race Ducati's put special foam blocks in the tank to kill the slosh..
