Default 150cc Kandi Spyder just won't go

I'm trying to get a family friend's buggy fixed. It's a Kandi Spyder 150cc. The CVT belt was shredded and the clutch shoes looked pretty well gone. I did some research and installed a new NCY CVT kit. The kit came with the yellow 1500RPM spring, brand new variator with 13.5g slider weights. I also installed a new kevlar belt. Everything seemed to go together great. However, when I let the buggy down off the jacks and fired it up, it just won't move. I put the buggy back up on jack stands and started it again to watch the clutch and variator. Everything seems to be working just fine. The rear wheels even spin up when I engage it into drive. I have no idea why it wont go when I get in it. I'm 225lbs but figure it should haul me! Anyone have some input for me? This is my first experience with one of these buggies.

I had the slider weights installed incorrectly. Are you using sliders or roller weights?

Not sure never had to take it apart yet it's a new engine ( less than a 100 miles) that I shredded the belt and was running wonderfully at the time .
I will pull it apart this weekend and check them . Thank 4 your response

Sure enough.... pulled the cvt apart and all the rollers were flat sported.
Switched out to some others I had as backup and she started and ran fine. I would've spent much of my efforts on the carb had it not been for this post, thanx again.
