Default Baja Dune 150 - rear bounces non stop

So I have been working on a baja dune 150 and it rode great. parked it for a while (blown starter) and finally got it fixed up again. However, going down the road the whole thing bounces like a rubber ball! Boing, Boing, Boing, Boing, etc. Very annoying - what happened? Granted - I got it in rough shape for $200, could the shocks have up and died? I am no lightweight - 6'5" 240lb so I could believe that I killed the shocks. Any other thoughts?
Oh and I wired in a sweet 20" LED light bar.

Thanks,
Joe

stock shocks aren't the best, but not horrible, and if the buggy sat outside that makes it worse, also depends on your tires also, u might have adjustable shocks, you can turn the preload to a softer setting.
also tire air pressure plays a role.

Definitely sat outside. Tires were low and I added air just before taking a spin. Tires are original - Lord knows how old they are! But they have decent tread. Maybe flat spotting in the cold?

flat spots will cause a improper ride.

Check to see if the axle is bent.

On that same line, check the tightness on you nuts for your hubs and wheels.
