Default CN250 motor substitutes

I bought a sunl 250 without a motor (it does have the radiator and engine bracket). I have some mechanical experience with quads and motorcycles but this is first buggy.

Im working through options to get it rolling:

1 - new cn250 (this is what was stock correct?)
2 - new gy6 (150, short arm)
3 - monster garage a 9-11hp motor to work

I have looked at a bunch of pics on web and cannot tell if a gy6 bolts in the same as the cn250. Anyone know he answer? Seems like gy6 would be easiest to come by if bolt and wiring would not be too difficult. I am not looking for any serious performance yet, can upgrade later if needed.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

The motor I am selling comes from a Dazon 250 and will power it to about 40mph with 350lbs in it. Two adults that is. Nothing wrong with it at all, just swapping in a Yamaha 540 to get more power at the higher altitudes out here.

The GY6 will not drop in since mounting points are different. Go with 300 pilots 250. The only obstacle I see is your reverse gear box, I believe the dazon to be a different setup from the Sunl but this should not present a big problem if you have some skills with fabricating.

I will even throw in the back engine mount. The front one holds my gear box so I have to keep it.
