Chain Tension Help
Have a question on the drive chain tension on my HH 150. The spec is 3/8" - 1/2" of deflection but how hard do you push on the chain while measuring it?
Thanks, Shawn

Don't use your thumb , hand or arm . Use your first two fingers like holding a smoke , 10/4 .

Thank you, that helps. It’s actually supposed to have a fair amount of slack in it then.

Well You said 3/8-1/2 : So if You had a ruler, straight edge in line with the chain , with that amount of pressure in the middle , between the sprockets , you'd be able to deflect the chain 3/8"-1/2" away from your straight edge .
