If its long enough just put both on the same cvt cover bolt....but it really don't matter where as long as its on the motor.

Default Question on TSC Carbide 150 cc

What were the new prices of the TSC Carbide Buggy around 2012? I found one that appears to have been well cared for and in very good condition. The only issue is it won't start right now but they said it was running at the end of last year. They are asking $500.00. I know absolutely nothing about these buggies so any help would be greatly appreciated. Seems cheap for the shape it's currently in. One more question, are parts hard to find for these? The only thing I see at TSC is a belt. Should I consider or run away?

Not a TSC , they just sell them . Made by ASW - American Sports Works , previously know as Manco . Reputable company , in business for decades , quality Buggy , ample parts supply , over $3000 new . Either big problem , or they don't know any better -- they're giving it away at that price .

Thanks for all the replys and comments. It seems like a good deal but I didn't know what they were new. I browsed eBay and there is an abundance of parts. The current owned mentioned something about it being a CDI box which is around 20.00. I hope they haven't sold it by the time I get back with them.

If you do get it check and see if its AC or DC cdi before you order

ok now i got the harness and ground figured out everything seems to start. I was running the buggy and notice that there was some grinding noise and took off the cv cover and it had come loose and was grinding on the cover. i'm not sure what the PO did to this buggy but now when i try to tighten the nut on the variant it keep's coming loose maybe the PO put the variant i assume that is want it called coming out of the engine with the roller's etc in it. there is a big washer with groves and edges on the one side does the side with the edges go in towards the variant or the nut or maybe that is the wrong place it goes i'll post some pics tomorrow to show what i'm talking about
