define "tasteful" lol.
You've got "cosmetic", (new paint scheme, rims/tires)
functional additions, (front fenders, lights, horn, radio/mp3).
and performance (engine and suspension mods).

Don't hold your breath- It'll need some type of repair soon & then the tinkering starts! Cleaning & lubing the clutch is needed after about 20 hrs. if it's not dusty, Checking all the bolts and greasing the moving parts should occur everyday it's driven. It'll get mod's simply by trying to keep it driveable while waiting on parts to be delivered. Sorry if this wasn't what you wanted to hear! Save the radio/MP3 mod for later after she drives like a pro.

We had our first problem a few weeks ago when the steering locked up.Turned out a needle bearing in the steering wheel froze up and we had to upgrade to a better plastic looking sleeve.Cheap and easy fix.I do need to learn how to keep up with the maintenance.
