Default seeking advice on FL350R rebuild

My oddly is in need of an entire crank rod up rebuild, a couple of my questions include, how big can I go before a resleeve, and also has anyone owning one heard or tried the exhaust bridging concept? I'm not to familiar with a two stroke rebuild and what to look for and go for when it comes to my oddly, it is an 85 model
