Default Good engine choice for 2 seater?

I just picked up an older manco fox pro2 today without a motor. The guy I bought it from had a 18 hp motor on it before. It came with a comet torque converter for a 1" shaft. Would the following motor be a good candidate?

depends on who's driving/riding the kart? for younger kids or an "old" kid-at-hear that can't get enough power?

Well i'm 260lbs so it has to at least move my fat butt around. My kids are both big guys so I'm just trying to get something that can accommodate all of us.

How do you like it? And also, what is this High Low Netrual Reverse polaris tranny that you speak of? Might want to look into this if you have more information.

The tranny he's referring to is a polaris ATV automatic. I took a '99 polaris 325 auto in trade at work last spring, (sold it in the fall) good working transmission. would suit the hp level your looking at. Don't know whether or not the convertor you have would be up for the power levels you want to put to it.
