Default ebay shock absorbers

I remember reading a post about buying adjustable rebuildable shock absorbers off of ebay. Now I can't find the post. It discussed changing the amount of oil in the shock and charging them using mountain bike shock pumps. I was just hoping someone know how to find the post or knows who originally posted it so that I can search by poster. i am looking to change the shocks on my crossfire 150 and want to do some research/reading. Thanks in advance.

Default And if you call within the next 10 minutes:

I can't remember where I found it ,but I looked at a post where someone modified a pair of stock shocks by drilling a hole and draining the oil and replacing it with better and more oil then filling the hole with some sort of valve or something. I was interested in trying this but can't find the post again. I'm not even sure what forum I saw this on. I know, I know, I know. Why would I ever go to another forum besides this one? This was before I found this wonderful forum full of Mad Geniuses.

think that was xlint who modded the e-bay shocks, those are chinese built sold by e-day id "ophiro" I bought old fox shocks and rebuilt them--service manuals are free pdfs and all the parts can still be gotten. i have a 300 psi risse racing shock pump--same as the one fox sells that i use for pressurizing them.
