I put a 157qmj in our 2004 dune 150 about 4 years ago with reverse. I paid 250.00 from a chiniese scooter store in pomona CA. The only mod was to change out the rear out put shaft for the reverse gear to fit because the shaft is longer.
The stock howhit motor had more power than the cheap replacement motor.
I found out why when a year later I removed the head to port it and the ports were very small and restrictive. After porting the head the power came back.
The motor for 250.00 was a great deal, it came with carb starter and coil.
I would recomend if you can find a howhit motor for 350.00 it is a better quality motor.
I think the head is better quality. Thats just my opinion.
Good Luck, any questions be glad to help.
