Default Wheel and Tire Size??

I have an 04 spiderbox with a complete Buggy Depot style front end including the 4/110 mm hubs and front break kit. I was wondering what is the best wheel and tire size to use. What affect does rim size have(8 or 10 inch)

Rim size primarily determines your tire choices ... the larger you go, the more selection you have. It also opens things up in terms of allowing for future changes. with 8 inch rims, you'd be hard pressed to get a disc brake setup to work--with 10 inch, you'd have a much easier time of it. Likewise though, you're going to have to consider tire to frame clearance and obviously larger tires also cause more issues in that regard. Then there's additional weight and stress to work into the equation ...

with the BD hub and brake setup, a 8" wheel is a little too tight. there's about an 1/8 inch of clearance off the back side of the caliper. I decided to go with 10" wheels and use a 22x8-10 tire.
