Yeah. I would say it's a good buggy.

It looks very off-brandish but that doesn't absolutely mean that it would be a bad buggy. I see they offer a 3 year warranty on it. I would ask the specifics on it such as whether or not that warranty includes labor. In a lot of cases, they just give a parts warranty. It also says offers are accepted. Try to beat them up a little on the price and see what happens.

Thanks guys. The reason I ask is I ordered that kart from the website shown for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas in November & it was promised to ship the next day. Well after sending full payment, I have been unable to get in touch with them and was really worried I might have possibly been scammed, or at the very least, it wouldn't show up in time. So last week I bought the used Yerf dog 150 that I had asked about in the other thread, so I would have a kart for her on Christmas. Well late this afternoon I finally got a call from the dealer with the tracking info and it looks like it will be delivered this coming Monday the 21st just in time for Christmas.

I have ruffly about the same invested in both karts, I paid 800.00 for the new 90cc and 750 for the yerf dog, but I had to buy a new battery and seat belts. I dont need both karts so I am debating on which to try and get rid of. From what I have read it looks like the Yerf dog and the new cart should both run about 30 mph so I assume the performance should be about the same. My gut instinct tells me to try and sell the new 90cc kart because it is smaller and she should be able to ride the Yerf dog longer as she get older, but then again the 90cc is brand new so..

Any thoughts from the experts? These are the first go karts I have ever bought so I am kind of flying blind here.

My thoughts are that you will be keeping both! They are a lot of fun really. Sounds like they didn't have it in stock and that does kinda suck but ride it out and see how it goes.

Thanks guys, I did end up selling the other kart and kept the yerf dog. I think we made the right choice as she just loves the kart. I made a short video of her earlier today kicking up a little dust.

Thanks. It really is a neat little kart, now I kind of wish I had one for myself. Maybe I'll run across a Honda 350 Odyssey around here for myself.

the yerfs are a pretty good buggy, just keep an eye on the spindles, ball joints and the bolts that hold the front end on. those are the weak spots on them

Funny you should mention that, she took me out in it today and got a bit rough with it. We bent the right spindle to where the tire is rubbing the tie rod end when she caught the right front tire on a big tree root sticking up going around a tight turn. I guess in all fairness I am really way to big to riding in this thing at 6.1 270lbs. She is only 80 lbs so it runs pretty good with just her in it. Got to admit it is a lot of fun.

You made the right decision on getting rid of the sunl. The 90cc engine is not a honda clone , it is a chinese engine. Parts are very hard to come by if not impossible for that engine. As far as the front spindle, contact Travis at BuggyDepot, he has the heavy duty spindles for the yerf, as well as the heavier balljoints. This will solve the front end issues. TOM

I'll bet I can just straighten it in my press and weld a gusset on each side and it would be good to go. I appreciate the heads up on Buggy Depot, I had no idea where to find parts for this thing other than looking on ebay.

I agree, it's not the best design, but I doubt she would have ever hurt it if I hadn't been in the kart with her. I am fairly big, and by myself weigh more than the kart is supposed to carry.

Your weight had nothing to do with it, there front spindles are a weak point. You can do what you said to repair it, you can also go to buggydepot.com and get their heavy duty spindles for it. They also have heavy duty balljoints and shocks as well for the Yerf Dogs. TOM
