Default engine help

I have a runmaster 150cc. It has a gy6 on it just like the chinese scooters. It has been sitting for 3 years and i got it running yesterday but it will go like 20 mph. I took the carb off and cleaned everything but idk why it is ..too much gas? anything will help

it takes off slow and when you let off throttle it dies

How did you clean the carb?

The carb as well needs to be soaked and all orifices blown out with compressed air. Jets may be open but carb plugged up. Also how were jets cleaned, many will poke something thru the pilot jet enlarging it thus causing engine to run rich until 3/4 throttle and thats if it will even idle. Also what is the color of the spark plug.
