Tav-2 on an EX27
It doesn't fit. The aluminum backing plate hits the dipstick housing. Do I need to fab up my own jackshaft kit for the driven pulley? BMI shows one welded to a plate but it says that it's for tecumseh engines?????

You have to grind it. Give me a minute and I'll post a link to how I did mine on our warrior mini bike.

good info
my ex27 has the rear dipstick boss with a dipstick. Is there a plug that fits that boss? The plastic dipstick is kind of high.

I used a pair of tin snips and cut it flush. Just make sure the one with the actual dipstick on it is not in that hole.

That's what I figured. Maybe use a little sealant on it since it will be difficult to tighten once clipped flush. Thanks Buggymaster.....you da man!

Just a note......the crank threads on my ex27 is 7/16" x 20!! That's the same size as a small block chevy! I need to drill out the thick retainer washer on my new 1" driver clutch.....it's 3/8".
