Default New toy - Carbide 150 cc

Found a used ASW Carbide Reverse for $200 that wasn't starting. I think it's a 7150.

Turn the key and all I get is a click. The folks I bought it from said it needed a new starter relay, so I replaced that, no luck. They also told me that the hose from the air intake was not connected to anything in order to keep the engine cool.

Read a bunch and figured out I have power to the starter. Pulled that, opened it up and bits of copper wire fell out.

Does anyone have experience rebuilding seat cushions? The kart was left outside and the wood rotted out. The backs are OK, but the bottom of the passenger seat is missing altogether.

Putting in a new air intake, muffler, and front fenders

Just buy a new starter. They're not too expensive for the GY6 150 engines. Not really worth the time to rebuild a starter imo.

I did, from ASW. Saw them cheaper, but wondered about the quality for the parts.
