Red face carter kpx model 2936 4415

Has any one seen or worked on this model, Problems getting the break linkage back together, i had help removing the axle, and breaks, now every thing is ready except the breaks.... i have posted pictures in other links PLEASE HELP

your model doesn't come up in the archives- looking at other model parts breakdown illustrations they don't show re-assembly of brakes either. Try the contact us link for help, or try and find an authorized dealer in your area that has a manual like the site suggests-

yup, looked at every site for manuals, left messages with dealers that do servicing ect...... nothing.. and there is NO place within 100 + mikes of me!

THANKS FOR YOUR IN PUT, YOUR ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP DO YOU KNOW OF ANY MECHANICS IN YOUR AREA THAT MAY KNOW?

I bet you are !!!!!!! You da man.... Ya carters web site is down, birthday party sunday michael has 3 buddys coming and lots of family and i cannot get it going.. He traded his dirt bike for the go cart, the day he did it was raining so we didnt know the brakes were that bad, he drove threw my garage door 2 days later .. The drum was really messed up and no pad on the drum.. Thanks metalstudman !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here is another picture, i think the scratches are from where the bracket go through the bottom plate.. and with some more looking i think the go kart was made 2006 or 2008, i was trying to find a repair manual...................

Did you ever find the manual? I have a copy of it, I've got the 2936SPX the two seater version shows the 2936KPX on the parts breakdown. I'll try to upload it here or link it for you.

I have searched for it on the internet but was not able to find anything relevant. My advice is to make a visit to mechanic, surely hekarts for kidswill help you.

I know this thread is really old, but I was wondering if the op fixed his breaks or gave up. Incidentally, for future reference purposes, the Carter SPX and Carter KPX appear to be identical with exception to color and decals. I cannot find any other differences.
