Question unknown chineese 150cc buggy, non starter

Hi all,new to this, and sorry for the vague buggy description.its a chineese 150cc buggy, which was brought in as it wouldnt start.they guys had ripped up the wiring on the ignition after serious corriosion.if i crank it at the rear by crossing the starter, and shoot some ether in the intake,it fires up no problem, but i cant get it to run on its own fuel....any suggestions would be great...(buggy is here in ireland)paul

Check your fuel lines. They could be clogged, or the jets in the carb.
