169cc 6.5 hp go kart preformance
Hi, I need help. I have a 169cc 6.5 hp manco/ silver fox go kart that is not "mud ready" What are some ways i can enhance its performance on all terrain?

Welcome. I have a Manco vortex. It is the same kart except I have double a-arm suspension. If you are going mudding you will need to have a cover over your torque converter. If the belt gets wet you lose all your power. you will need mud flaps for sure. The 6.5 hp is not bad but you will need more torque. Adjust your driven pulley spring to hole #1. I just took off the stock 60tooth sprocket on mine and put a 40 Tooth sprocket. I lost top speed but gained some torque.
I would make sure first of all your cover is on.
