need gear help
have a brand new honda gx240 8 horse and need to know where to get a clutch or engine sprocket for the 3/4" taperd cranck

did a little digging online and the only thing in tapered i could find were sort of "two stage" taperlock sprockets which use a sprocket hub and a bushing. do you have pics of the engine/shaft? I've had several GX series (my pressure washers, hydroseeders and freshwater pumps) and don't recall the output side having a taper. OOps Just found them, you have a type E or V engine then. If you can exchange it for one with a straight shaft, I'd go that route ...
