Default BuggyMasters Contest Number 2 - Best Buggy Picture

Ok guys, it's been a while since we did our last contest so it's time to do another.

This contest will be called "Best Buggy Picture" contest. Here's how it will work:

Post your best personal buggy pictures in this thread. Up to 2 per person. You can do them inline or upload them as attachments. They can be any pic buggy related (see the rules below). They can be a real picture of some kind or if you are the creative type, and know how to use photo shop or something, feel free to be creative. Got a picture of you doing a great jump? Got some awesome mods on yours that really shows it off? How about one so muddy you can't even tell it's a buggy anymore?

YOU NEED TO OWN THE PICTURE that you post. Don't post a picture that may have a copyright on it. Now if it's your neighbors buggy and you took the picture or he/she said you could have it, that's fine but I am looking for original pictures. Don't scour the internet looking for someone else's picture. Go take one of your own. If you post a picture that belongs to someone else, you'll be disqualified.

Only pictures posted in this thread are eligible to win. If you upload them into your album and then put them inline from there, that is fine but we need to be able to see them in the picture contest thread. (instructions for putting them inline are below)

I will close this thread on or about March 1st 2010 at (or about) Midnight.

While the thread is open, feel free to comment on the pictures that you see posted. If you really like one, comment on it.

From the pictures that are entered, I will personally, and indiscriminantly, choose the top 10 pictures and your comments will help me in that decision.

After I have identified the top 10 pictures, I will start a new thread with a voting poll and you members will ultimately choose the winner through that voting.

The contest ends on March 15th 2010 at 11:59 PM so there will be about 2 weeks worth of voting.

Each member can submit up to 2 pictures each. Any pictures in addition to that will not be eligible and I will not pick 2 pictures from a single member to go in the top 10.

THE PRIZE....ahh so what do you win?

Our primary sponsor of BuggyMasters.com is SYCPowersports who can be found at www.sycpowersports.com and is member name sycarms. He has graciously donated variator sliders/rollers of your choice in size and a rear main clutch spring of your choice (torque spring). So if you have been wanting to do those mods, here's your opportunity to do it cheap!

Be sure to thank Tom at www.sycpowersports.com by checking out his website and looking him up when its time to get your performance parts!

The thread that tells you how to embed the images can be found here:

http://www.buggymasters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78

Here are the main rules:

1.) NO NUDITY PICS!!!! As much as I would like too see a big ol set of bare boobs on top of my head while I am sitting in my buggy, this is a family oriented site so we need to keep things rated PG. Bikini chicks are fine though.

2.) ONLY MEMBERS WHO HAVE AT LEAST 10 LEGITIMATE POSTS AT THE TIME I CHOOSE THE TOP 10 PICS ARE ELIGIBLE. Please refrain from making one word posts just to get your post count up.

3.) YOU NEED TO OWN THE PICTURE(S) THAT YOU SUBMIT.

4.) I reserve the right to change the rules at any time or end the contest at any time. Although this is very unlikely, I have to put this in here in case there is something I missed or something crazy happens. If I change something or add something I will post in this thread. Subscribe to it if you need to so you get a notification if I change something.

5.) DO NOT GO OUT AND GET CRAZY just to get a good picture. Use common sense. I don't want anyone to get hurt just to win some parts.

6.) Vendors of any level (those of you that are supporting vendors and those vendors who do not actively support the site) are not eligible and neither and I or anyone in my family (buggymasterjr).

Here are my two pics. First one is an unedited picture, maybe some cropping if I remember correctly. Second is "Photoshopped."

That's actually a great picture. Glad to see your getting it out there in the snow. We did the same thing this past weekend.

Yep. These were taken a year ago though then the clutch was still good. At least the new parts are on their way so I will be able to get it back out there in the snow as strong as ever.

Default Zack's buggy

Well, Here is my 5yr old on his Christmas present. Just want to say thanks to everyone that put me in the right desertion. Started with a pile of parts that I bought on crag's list. It was a little fox at one time, Put a 6hrp. Tecumseh (new, never had oil in it) made a jack shaft system with with comet 30 series Torque converter system. On the rear axle removed 28 tooth sprocket reworked 60 tooth in place and ten up top. Works perfect around Grandpa's walnut trees. Well in to it for about $260.00 for everything well worth the joy on my boy's face. Enough said.

It is a 2008 SunL that I just got on Friday. There are more pics in my special delivery thread. It has a CN250cc with a locked differential and will climb anything you point it at. The previous owner really did a spectacular job on it. It is modded to the gills as well.

looks like she's having a ball......
how do the yerf dogs hold up for you? i have a 3203 but it's more of a yard cart than for the trails. i've heard mixed opinions. i've been looking for another hammerhead in my area but they are hard to come by. the 3200 series yerfs are all over the place but i don'r want to be wrenching on it all the time.......what's your opinion of yours?

Yeah she really enjoys it. She has only had it about 2 months now & so far so good. We did bend the right front spindle when she took me for a wild ride down in the river bottom but it was a pretty simple fix.

Other than that, I am fairly impressed with the Kart, but haven't had any experience with other karts for a comparison.

yea, same here. i've only had the hammerhead (other than the yard cart) and i don't know if that will set my standards too high looking at a different buggy for the boys. i'm REALLY impressed with my hammerhead so far and i've had it in some pretty hairy situations (hills, mud, snow). i don't beat on it or jump it but i have tested it's climbing ability and in mud holes. i guess i was concerned with the way the front axle is set up on the yerf more than anything.

Yeah I could see a larger more aggressive rider tearing up the front end pretty quick on this thing. She is only about 80lbs and it seems to hold up pretty good with just her in it. She is not nearly as daring as I am & if I were looking for something for myself I wouldn't go with a Yerf dog. I will say the kart has exceeded my initial expectations as far power and versatility. When buying it I didn't really know what to expect, but these karts have come along way since I was a kid.

The kind of karts around when I was her age wouldn't even make it to the trails, much less go up & down them. Her kart has really impressed me on how well it climbs in stock form. I am looking forward to getting started on the mods in the near future.
