Default New guy here from Montana.

I had a go kart my Dad built for me 20 or more years ago and have wanted another or something like it every since he got rid of it within a couple of months of getting it. I have been searching like crazy for different rides and really like the off road buggies. I don't know enough about them to build my own yet so I'm thinking of buying one for now. Tough to find a reputable dealer with good prices.....so I have noticed. Any suggestions on where to go would be great help. I'm not sure what size engine I should be looking for either. I am looking at a two seater with good suspension for rough country and some decent ground clearance too that has some decent get up and go for up to.......eh, $3000.00 or so. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

R.S.

Thanks, this is what I would really like. I have done some checking on the seller and read some horror stories so I won't be buying from them. Just have to locate somewhere else.

That one uses a copy of the air-cooled 400cc Yamaha BigBear engine with an auto clutch 5-speed. The vehicle is too big and heavy for that setup resulting in guarantied transmission problems.

Searching for something closer to you shows nothing (CO, ID, MT, ND, NE, SD, UT,WY). It looks like you will need to take a trip west:
