Default Found a cheap yerfie

Well ain't this a shocker! I found an inexpensive yerf dog in my area! lol http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/bar/4317329563.html

this guy practically screams "I don't want this anymore take it away from me". It kinda reminds me of the kart someone said (maybe on a different forum, I cannot remember) that the guy asked like 500 for it, and he bought it for 50. LOL.

Anyway, I'm looking to see if he'll trade for my iPod touch and maybe a small amount of moola to go with it. I know I don't have enough for my current build, but this would be a great parts/experimentation machine, and if I suddenly win the lottery I'd soop it up and get it up to pace with my current one. What do you guys think? Whatcha think it's worth (I think around 100-200).

idea shot down by the parents. "not enough room" under the porch. Despite the fact that the concrete slab is literally 10x20 feet. Oh well...

I would still try to get it, simply for a parts kart. Looks as if if has been outside anyways.
You could always throw a tarp over it and put it in the corner of the yard.
Considering parts are hard to come by, great invest ment for the the right price.

Not too many of the yerf parts that break are worth replacing with the stock stuff. I too was concerned about getting spare parts and such, but if you upgrade the right things, and keep a parts list of what you replaced it with and where you got it, it makes things a lot simpler.

Save your $$ and start upgrading what you have, or sell it and save some more and buy a better one that doesn't need all the work.

I think I'll repurpose it to my dad later... He's just at work now and had a free minute and called me... We'll see how it goes. They don't understand the whole mentality of getting it for parts. It's worth much more than what I hope to negotiate to (in terms of price/value of trade) in parts alone... We'll see

Just figured that it might be nice to have a second, even if not for parts, once I get done with this one (whenever that'll be) I'll have another project. This is pretty much me and my parents right now
