Default cf250 4 pin regulator?

I recently converted my baja 150 gy6 cart and installed a cf250. I have a 4 pin regulator with y/r wire, black wire, red wire, and a white wire. The stator wires are 3 yellow wires. Anyone know what or how to wire this? I believe it was wire on the 150 as the following : y/r wire went to a fuse then the starter relay. The black to ground. Red to positive battery. White? Not sure.

You will have to use a 250 regulator/rectifier and using a schematic wire it for a 250 system.

The 250 needs a 3-phase rectifier that can handle more load. Although it is possible to wire up your little 2-phase model, it will not last long powering the 250.

If you like give me a call 662-301-1563 and I can try to tell you how to wire it. It would be good if you were in front of the buggy. If I do not answer make sure to leave a message and I'll call you right back. Or if better e-mail me your phone# with a good time to call and I'll call you tom@sycpowersports.com
