Default Backyard buggy find...opinions needed

Hi I'm a new member here and I would love to get some input on this buggy I found locally.

What's a fair price for this given the condition?

Here's what I know:

-Hasn't run in 2 years but ran well before it was parked
-Has been sitting in the same spot for 2 years
-Exposed to elements
-Buggy rolled and broke a kid's arm (That's why it's parked)
-Roll cage is bent
-250cc engine

Owner doesn't want to put any time into this thing to see if it's still running.

So, what do you guys think?

Thanks!

if it'll run, upwards of $1000.

Well, i live in louisiana, and i recently bought two buggies...both were hammerhead gt 150 that had been sitting up for 5 years, but not exposed to the elements..both were in very clean condition, but would not run...needed some tlc and a few new parts and clean some other parts up...when i bought these buggies the feller i bought one from still had the invoice and all the paper work with it...the invoice said he paid 2300.00 new for the buggy...i bought it off of him for 200.00 bucks...the other cart needed a little more tlc and i got it for 150.00...but i caught them at a good time, they needed them gone...i have both buggies running really good and not much money in either of them....i cranked both of them the next day...this buggy here looks to be in fairly good shape, just a good cleaning and some tlc to it too...i do see the upper roll cage is bent, but that shouldn't be to hard to fix yourself...hopefully the gas tank won't be full of rust, those can be fun cleaning out...i wouldn't give anymore than 500.00 for it...probally could give it a good carb cleaning, some fresh gas, and good battery, and it might bust right off..make sure and check the air filter...after sitting up for a while, depending on which style filter is in this one, but they can start to deteriorate..hope this helps a little bit

doesn't run, those tires might not hold air, Its been sitting outside which kills a lot of stuff, if it had gas sitting in it that's even worse, frame needs work like u stated, doesn't even run. I wouldn't pay more then $250. The repairs and time will add up real fast.

Also welcome to the site.

Thanks for all the input guys. He wants $700 dollars for it.

I know that there is gas in the tank because he mentioned we would need to drain it. I'm sure it's full of rust so the gas tank will have to be replaced.
