Default Deal or no deal. Fox carbide

This is for sale locally. It will start but not stay running. The owner says it has sat for awhile. It was his sons but he went to college and hasn't ridden it much lately. I'm thinking carb is gummed up. He is asking $800. I told him the most I can do would be $600. He says it has low hours. They bought it new.

$600 is a good price if it runs, doesn't stay running could be just a couple of simple things. The only thing I see bad about the carbide is the seats turn pink after time. The kart it self is good quality and for $600 that's a good price.

He could get it started with a shot of starter in the breather. I'm honking of offering him $550. The only other thing I could see was the chain is rusted and some rust in a few other places. He says it has been kept inside. I would think that is true cause the seats have not faded. Just nervous paying $600 for something I can't test ride.

How does the turning radius compare to the spiderbox?

I think every buggy has a better turn radius over a spider box lol.

Hence: The low price . If it was turn - key , ready to ride , no issues , the asking price on C.L. in my area would be more like $1500 . If it ran good when it was parked , it will run again with some work . You gotta feel him out , get the full story , and decide if you believe him , or if he even knows what he's talking about . In other words you gotta be Judge Judy .

Deal @ $600 and maybe ven $800.

There are a couple of tell tale signs. First...all mudflaps are still intact. 2nd those tires are barely used. Will need carb clean and battery but if it was around here for $600 I would have it home already.

Deal
