Default Gy6 Air filter upgrade.

I have a yerfdog spiderbox with a stock gy6. I want to put on a uni style air filter and eliminate the air box. What size jets do I need for the stock carb to avoid running lean and are there any concerns with the other air lines that run into the air box?

While using the stock exhaust and muffler , 118 to 122 would probably be the range. Letting a larger volume of air and fuel into the motor without a way to get that volume of air out will most likely cancel out any performance gain. Using larger exhaust pipe and a straight through muffler will complete the system. but using a UNI still beats the stock air box for dependability and service.

Thank you for the info. Now I have to figure out the lights. No power coming to them, but everything else works.
