Default Kawasaki en450 (no spark)

So I bought a talon 150cc modified with an en450 twin engine on it. I've pretty much replaced everything from the stator to the pulser coils even to the ignition coils and still no fire. I think it's the cdi or igniter box that shorted out. The last person that had it said they had it running but with time and neglect they left it outside in the weather. My question is can I use other cdi's? It is an older engine and you cant really find igniters for it.

Solved the problem. I needed to make sure there was power on the igniter coils from the battery lead switch. The primary coil receives power from battery and secondary ignites spark from cdi. I did not know that the coils had to have power on them.
