Default Buggy Restoration

Well after the fall ride I decided it was time to give the wife's buggy some love. I have it just about about apart, will be painting it a different color, adding new Douglas aluminum wheels, new head ( valve guides are shot ) new seat belts, repair the front where she hit a tree at the buggy bash, and maybe some lights

just a freshen up basically, but will be a fun winter project. got the suspention blasted and painted, its a carbon metalic color, the new head on, exhaust rewraped, and swing arm painted.

now just have to blast the frame and start primeing

the car altenator on most puts out 75-115 amps, these buggy systems only produce 3.5-4 amps. it will blow the stator, regulator and pick up coil.

got the tires and new douglas and itp wheels mounted, hopefully next week I will get it blasted

Did it feel powerful? I only ask because I think it weighs more than the average 250.
