Default Polaris 500 in a Hammerhead 250ss

Here are some pics of my HH. I built the front end using plans from the Shredder II buggy. The engine came from a 2001 polaris scrambler.

hey Kearney, what hill climb was that? I didn't see anyone standing on the side, Me and a few other guys where standing there on a couple of your runs.

Also, that second pic in your first post I've seen that set of rocks on ebay or some just like it, with someone selling buggies, when I find the pic I'm gonna post it! lol

Tj, that's the same hill. I don't remember if it was my first or second run. Those rocks are in my front yard.

Maybe someone posted there buggy there while you were out, got a few pics then took off. I can't find the ebay listing anymore, it was a while ago, looked the same but I doubt that it was.

maybe if Mackenzi71 posted his buggy in that same spot he can get a good offer for it?

$1700? he is reaching for that! It's not a horrible looking buggy, if he took the time to clean it up and get rid of the 1980's trailer awning on the top, and slap a little paint on it. it looks as though he got rid of the water hoses and penut butter Jar reservoir. lol

He did a good job of fixing it... 20 secs is all it takes in the right hands.

I flipped mine in the scrambles, didn't know which way to go made a quick turn at the last second and popped over a bank and rolled it.

That looks soooo much better. kind of edge pirahna like in the front and traditional sand/woods rail in the back. Any thoughts of additional brace bars on a diagonal back from the two front mains? Would make it a bit of a pain for getting in/out, but that's one impact area all these things lack structurally.

Yes, it has been mentioned on a few sites to try to add something there. The truth is im done for this year. I ran out of motivation and barely got this far. Once the riding season is done I plan to add some more gussets and bracing.
