Engine parts cross to a Yamaha Big Bear, but the rest of the stuff you will have fabricate or convert over to something more common.

I have a big bear and the engine is pretty good. I've debated putting it in a buggy since it's a 2wd but I'm really wanting to build a 4x4 buggy.

I loved the yamabuggy. The biggest issue in my educated opinion (besides the potential lack of ability to get parts) is the poor cooling design and our machine regularly would trigger the overheating light. Maybe a relocation of the oil cooler could fix that. This was a very fun machine otherwise.
