Carter brother GTR differential gears for sale
I have good new!!! I found replacement differential gears for the GTR . I have one extra set of anyone is interested. These are brand new direct replacements, If more people are interested I can order more!! $60 shipped.

Apparently I don't know what I'm looking at . Your first pic looks like conventional differential gears ... Set of spider , and side gears . Side gears are usually spline'd to axle & retained by a large c clip . Grinding & welding doesn't sound like factory replacements . Like I said I'm not familiar with what's in Your pic. , But I hope that shaft and gear have splines , and the " weld " is just the end play retainer .
PS. ER70S6 and 6011 aren't really compatible to use on hardened parts like that shaft , and gear . Weld will probably brake . . Good Luck .

If you don't know what you're looking at then why reply? Everything was returned to factory. It was welded when I got it so I returned it the way it came. yes both shafts are splined and the weld is a retainer. Carter Brothers parts are impossible to find so when I found these I thought it would be good to share so other people know that they exist. Stripped gears are a common problem in Carter Brothers differentials.
