GREAT SITE, GLAD I FOUND IT.

LOOKING FOR A FEW SUGG. ON A NEW BUGGY.

LOOKING TO PURCHASE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING.

CARTER GRT 250 3000.00 OTD
OR
HAMMERHEAD 250SS 3600.00 OTD

BOTH ARE NEW

HAVING TROBLE COMPARING THEM. QUALITY-OVER ALL VALUE / PROFORMANCE ECT...

ANYONE HAVE ANY THOUGHTS?

Welcome! Here's the big difference:

The Carter is a physically big buggy. Wider than what will fit in the back of a truck so you'll need a trailer to haul it around.

The HammerHead will fit in the back of a truck.

This can also be relevant regarding some trails that you may ride on.

We owned a GTR and I have to admit that I really liked it. The only downside I saw was that the parts were expensive compared to other machines (i.e. a full set of mudflaps is $120). Powerwise, take a look at the Track Attack forum.

I am still on the hunt for a HH 250 to give a good comparison.

Between what you have listed, I'd go with the Carter if width is not a problem.

Reecently found site as well. I bought a HH UM250IIR in 2006,looks to be the same as a250ss.Paid $3800 delivered to my front door in 2006. (T.C. Mi.). Have not had any problems yet!!!! One thing is that its not nearly fast enough.

my first choice was a carter but i have a 2007 hh250ss. i love my hammerhead though....i like the high/low speed choice.
