Default Mike from Gardner

Hey everyone!

Here's my story.

I recently bought an 09' SunL 150cc gokart off craigslist (SLGK-160A). The seller said it wouldn't start because of a bad coil, which was conveniently removed from the kart, and a broken chain. Thinking it was an easy fix, I bought the cart off him, and ordered a coil and fixed the thing up. I started it up, kicked it in gear and revved it, and heard a terriable noise coming from the back. Then I found out that was not the problem afterall, the seller had lied to me because the transmission had gears with missing teeth. I'm bitter about it, but if I can get it fixed, I'll get over my bitterness.

You live and learn right... now I know something else to check next time I buy a kart. Anyway I've been trying to locate these parts and have had very little luck, then I stumbled across this forum and it seems like a great place for me to do some research. (I'll post the questions in a different place though since this is the new member section).

Thats my story. Here are some pictures of the broken teeth on the gears.

Hey Mike first where are you located. Also from what I see that looks similar to a roketa tranny used in one of their older models. If you can send more pics of the overall tranny, maybe I could verify it so as to get the parts needed. TOM

the "Certification of Compliance" says it's "Date of product manufacture" is "2009.3".

I'm in Gardner, KS. Sorry... forgot to list state on the title
