Default Hello All, This is my first Buggy.

Hi everyone, Well this is my first buggy. I have 3 acres next to my house, all flat, formerly planted in the past, thought I could make a nice track.
Anyway, I bought my first buggy, no not new, to rich for my cash flow.
I bought a used Fox Helix 150cc, everything looks good except the kid pulled off the head and cyclinder on the engine and then let it sit in the garage forever.
Well, I only paid $280 for the buggy. I will post some pics and plenty of questions!!
Thanks for your advice ahead of time.

Mike

if it's just a matter of assembling the engine, it sounds like you got a deal......

Fantastic deal! Any parts that you need are not too expensive so I think you will be awefully happy when it's all done and ready to go.

Oh great! Another Helix owner. We need more Carbide owners around here... Haha, just kidding. Welcome to the site. With all of the money you save one the buggy, you can invest in mods... lots of mods. (evil laugh that echos here)

I have received the engine parts and I'm now getting into what needs repair. Looks like the wood is rotted on the bench seat. I will replace it with pressure treated plywood and put more padding in while I'm at it, recover it in red marine grade vinyl. The rest of the buggy is really in pretty good shape. Will update when I get it running.
