Default Maxxam buggy

how good are the Maxxam buggies? there is one here locally for $550. seems to look to be in good condition looking at pics he sent me. says it needs a new chain, belt and shifter cable. I am sure I could talk him down some, but what kind of buggy is it, I mean as being dependable and are parts easy to find? he says it is a 2008 model 150cc 2r. he said it cranks and runs good, and he paid $2900 for it new.

It looks identical to the talon, and most of the GK buggies, I see on some pics they even have a carter brothers sticker on the engine and cvt covers.

I heard that. just looked at a parts breakdown for it, and it looks alot like the Manco and Howhit engine I have on my other 2 buggies.

I would have a hard time right now explaining to the mrs. me why I would need a 3rd buggy. LOL But this sucker has about all the bells and whistles. I am like everyone else, I dont need these buggies, I just want them. lol I am going to see if he still has it, if he may want to do some trading. I hope he doesnt sell it soon since it needs work on it.
